Outrage As Students Write Exams Sitting On Bare Floor In Uyo

Photos of students of Four Town Secondary School, Uyo in Akwa-Ibom State writing exams while sitting on bare floor on the 14th of March, 2023 trended on Twitter on Wednesday evening, with many blaming government for the rot in school system in the State.
In a post on Twitter, Inibehe Effiong wrote that, “This is one of the richest States in Nigeria. This is what the criminal enterprise masquerading as government in Akwa Ibom has done to our people. If you keep voting for thieves and evil people, you will continue to suffer.”
Also reacting to the photos, another Twitter user @Linsky stated that, “I was in Uyo a few weeks back and the number of school children walking long distances to and from school is sad.
“Surely the oil producing Akwa Ibom State government can procure and run school buses for it’s kids.”
