Revive NIMAREX, Expose Fake Ship-Owners, Jolapamo Charges New NISA Leadership

Fred Omotara, Lagos
The pioneer President of the Nigeria Shipowners Association (NISA), Chief Isaac Jolapamo has urged the new leadership of the association to revive the Nigerian Maritime Expo (NIMAREX) and also expose fake Ship-Owners who go about tainting the image of the group.

Recall that NISA recently elected Otunba Sola Adewumi and other new executives to steer the affairs of the association for the next two years.
Speaking with Kadecommunicationng, the indigenous ship-owner who is generally regarded as the founding father of the association, explained that with the emergence of a new leadership at NISA, the fake practitioners will soon be exposed.
According to Chief Isaac Jolapamo, “I want to urge the new NISA leadership to work on reviving NIMAREX. The industry has been worse off without the annual shipping event which showcases the nation’s shipping development prospect.
“If the new NISA leadership hit the ground running, I can confidently tell you that the fake ship-owners who go about denting the image of our profession will also get exposed.
“Their (fake ship-owners) time is up. Let’s watch and see. With time, they will be exposed.”
