Danger Looms In Lagos As Tanker Breaks Down, Spills Content Near Ojuelegba
Fred Omotara, Lagos
A broken down petroleum tanker is currently spilling it’s content on the Dormanlong bridge inward Fadeyi area from Ojuelegba in Lagos, thereby fueling panic among road users around the area.
When kadecommunicationng passed through the area on Thursday morning, a section of the lane on the bridge has been taken over by the broken down tanker while officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) were seen coordinating vehicular movement through the remaining lane.
Also, the content of the tanker could be seen dripping from underneath the petroleum tanker and trickling down the bridge onto the Funsho Williams Avenue just before Ojuelegba bus stop.
As at the time of filing in this report, the tanker was still stuck on the bridge with it’s content dripping and traffic situation around the area becoming chaotic due to the blockage of an entire lane on top of the bridge by the broken down tanker.
