BREAKING: Okada Riders Let Loose Again In Abuja, Burn Houses

Over 200 motorcyclists popularly referred to as “okada riders” reportedly attacked Same Global Estate in the Lokogoma area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Sunday over the death of two of their colleagues, leaving houses burnt and many other properties Vandalised.
According to information reaching kadecommunicationng, trouble began in the area on Sunday, when a motorist hit some Okada riders and ran into the estate for safety.
The subsequent okada riders attack, according to an eyewitness, was aimed at apprehending the motorist who was trying to escape being lynched.
The okada riders, sensing residents of the estate wouldn’t hand over the motorist to them, took laws into their own hands and started burning houses.
A police source told newsmen that the FCT command has taken over the area to enforce peace.
The command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, could not be reached for comment as of the time of filing in this report.
It will be recalled that many lives were recently lost and lots of properties destroyed when fighting broke out between okada riders and traders of the Dei-Dei Timber market in Abuja just recently.
