BREAKING: FG Confers OFR Award On NIMASA DG, Bashir Jamoh

The Federal Government has conferred the national honours award of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) on the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Bashir Jamoh.
In a letter dated 19th of September, 2022 which was sighted exclusively by kadecommunicationng and addressed to the NIMASA DG, the award investiture ceremony is scheduled to take place at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja on the 11th of October, 2022.
The letter which was written from the Office of the Honourable Minister, Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator George Akume with reference number FMSDIGA/NHA/001/T/91 revealed that accommodation, and complimentary breakfast has been reserved for the NIMASA DG in Reiz Continental Hotel located at the Central Business District in Abuja ahead of the award investiture.
According to the letter titled: 2022 National Honours Award Letter, “I have the honour to formally inform you that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR has approved the conferment of the National Honours on you, in the rank of OFR (Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic).
“The investiture ceremony is scheduled to take place at the international Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja on Tuesday 11th of October, 2022 at 9am. Accommodation (bed and complimentary breakfast) is reserved for you at Reiz Continental Hotel, CBD, Abuja. Registration at check-in will be on Monday 10th October 2022 from 12 noon. A valid means of identification will be required.
“All award recipients are required to forward a one-page citation and current passport photograph to umaruahmadu82@yahoo.com. You are also to register online at www.fmsdiga-nha.org.ng.
