2023: Nigerian Presidential Aspirant Hosts Supporters Inside Ondo River
Omoyele Sowore, presidential hopeful seeking to represent the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 general election, has held a rally inside a river in Ondo state with some of his supporters.
Sowore had, on March 1, declared his intention to contest the presidency. He was also the candidate of the AAC in the 2019 general election.
Sowore, who was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) on August 2, 2019, was granted bail by different courts, but the agency had failed to release the activist until December 2019.
In a caption shared on Tuesday, Sowore said he visited the Opotuo river in his hometown in Ondo state.
According to him, the last time he was at the river was when he was nine years old.
