Yaba Red Line Station Reaches 75% Completion Stage-Governor Sanwo-Olu

The Yaba Station of the Lagos Red Line Railway has reached 75% completion stage while the vehicular flyover is at 85% completion.
Disclosing this on Tuesday during a tour of the project, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said that the station will provide a much-needed alternative to road transportation in the area and reduce travel time significantly.
According to Governor Sanwo-Olu, “I Just visited the Yaba station of the Lagos Red Line Railway which runs from Oyingbo to Agbado and I’m pleased with the progress made so far.
“The station is at 75% completion while the vehicular flyover is at 85% completion
“This station is a game-changer for transportation in Lagos and will improve connectivity for residents in the area. I also took some time to interact with residents in the area.
“Our team is working tirelessly to ensure the Oyingbo station of the Red Line is completed on schedule.
“This station will provide a much-needed alternative to road transportation in the area and reduce travel time significantly. It’s exciting to see the progress made on the #LagosRedLineRailway project.
“This infrastructure development is one of our top priorities as a government and we are committed to delivering a world-class transportation system for our citizens.
“We’ll definitely carry you along as the project progresses.”
