Unscheduled Maintenance: Ibom Air Suffers Multiple Flights Disruption

Ibom Air, one of Nigeria leading airlines, at the weekend told it’s customers that it is presently undergoing multiple flights disruption to its operations.
The Uyo based carrier, in a statement issued late Saturday night, asked affected passengers to either reschedule their flights at no additional cost or request a full refund for their tickets.
“Dear Valued Customers, as of yesterday, 12 January 2024, we have encountered a spate of flight disruption due to the sudden evolvement of unscheduled maintenance with our aircraft.
“We are painfully aware of the effect of this disruption and the likely inconvenience it will cause our valued customers.
“Our assessment indicates that this situation may persist throughout the weekend as we diligently work to restore our operations to the efficient normalcy you expect from us, prioritizing your safety and convenience.
“To our affected passengers, expect communication via email, phone calls, and/or text messages with detailed information regarding your flight. Updates will be sent to the contact details provided during your flight bookings. If you purchased your ticket through travel agencies, kindly reach out to them for additional updates.
“Once received, we kindly request that you visit any Ibom Air desk at our designated airports to reschedule your flight at no additional cost or request a full refund for your ticket.
