Traffic Snarl Hits Lagos Port As Container Falls on Access Road

A 40ft fully loaded container which fell on the Iganmu bridge inward Apapa Port on Tuesday morning has caused serious traffic issues for motorists moving into the port, kadecommunicationng can reliably confirm.
In a post monitored on the X page of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), the State traffic agency has already diverted traffic through the Iganmu service lane to mitigate the effect of the incident pending when the container will be removed.
“A fallen-off 40ft loaded container from it trailer head, ascending Iganmu bridge has led to total blockage of the bridge.
“Diversion through Iganmu service lanes in progress at the moment,” LASTMA stated on Tuesday morning via it’s X (formerly Twitter) handle.
