Three Nigerian Stowaways Arrested Under Ship That Departed Lagos Port For Spain

The Spanish coastguard has rescued and taken custody of three Nigerian stowaways from the underneath of a ship that arrived in the Canary Islands, Spain from Lagos ports.
A photograph showing the trio was distributed on Twitter by the coastguard on Monday.
The three Nigerians were seen sitting on the rudder of the oil and chemical tanker Althini II, after spending 11 days on tbe trip from Lagos to the Canary islands.
The vessel arrived in Las Palmas in Gran Canaria after an 11-day trip from Lagos, according to Marine Traffic.
The authorities confirmed that the migrants were taken into the port and attended to by health services.
