Unilag students protesting against the recent hike in tuition fees
SERAP Gives Unilag 48hours To Reverse School Fees Increment
Fred Omotara, Lagos
The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has given the University of Lagos 48hours to reverse the increase in tuition fees back to N19,000 from over N190,000.
In a statement very late on Wednesday, SERAP threatened legal action if the University fails to reverse the hike in tuition fee.
“The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) must immediately reverse the unlawful increase in tuition fees for students, reportedly from N19,000 to over N190,000.  “We’ll see in court if the fees are not reversed within 48 hours,” SERAP stated.
