Following a directive from President Mohammadu Buhari on Wednesday that all Federal Executive Council Members vying for public offices in the forthcoming 2023 general elections resign, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has tendered his resignation letter
This was confirmed on the APC UK Twitter handle which thanked him for his service to Nigeria.
Amaechi in his tenure revamped the nations rail sector by ensuring the construction of standard gauge railways in Abuja-Kaduna, Itakpe-Warri, Lagos-Ibadan.
