Noise Pollution: Lagos Seals Bars, Car Wash, In Lekki, Ikorodu

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) on Thursday conducted a comprehensive enforcement operation in key areas of Lagos, including lkorodu and Lekki Phase 1, to address noise pollution and other environmental violations.
Despite prior warnings, several establishments, including company, car wash, bar, and operators of illegal diesel point-of-sale , persistently disregarded LASEPA’s directives, resulting in their temporary closure to enforce compliance with environmental regulations.
The sealed establishments include Cloud 24 Bar, De Chillerz Lounge & Bar, Oklahoma Pub, Al-Barikah Car Wash, High Star Distillers Ltd, and operator of illegal diesel point-of-sale in residential areas.
LASEPA emphasizes the importance of adhering to environmental standards in its commitment to fostering a harmonious and sustainable environment for Lagos residents. The agency has issued numerous warnings to businesses across the State and will continue to enforce laws
