Nigerians React As Atiku Abubakar Deletes Tweet On Slain Sokoto Student

Nigerians have expressed shock at the action of a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential hopeful, Atiku Abubakar over his deleted post on the slain undergraduate student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education in‪ Sokoto‬ State, Deborah Samuel.
Recall that Atiku Abubakar’s tweet was hurriedly deleted after some people labelled him an infidel for posting a condolence message for Deborah Samuel on Twitter.
Reacting to Atiku Abubakar deleted tweet on Deborah Samuel, a Twitter user @Fola expressed anger that the same Atiku Abubakar will soon be contesting for the PDP Presidential ticket.
According to @Fola, “Why did Atiku Abubakar delete his condolence tweet on Deborah Samuel? Is this the same man that will soon be asking Nigerians to vote for him if he wins the PDP Presidentual ticket?”
Another Twitter user, @Mercy condemned the PDP Presidentual hopeful for deleting his tweet on Deborah Samuel.
“”Atiku has shown that he is not fit to rule Nigeria. With his deleted tweet on Deborah Samuel, be has told us where he belongs when it comes to religious tolerance in this country” @Mercy tweeted.
Another Twitter user, @Obiageli asked Nigerians to start holding politicians accountable for their actions.
“Atiku deleted his post on Deborah Samuel who was killed by religious fanatics over a comment on Mohammed (S.A.W). Nigerians should not forget this moments because this is the same man that wants to be our President. We should start holding this people accountable for thier actions,” Obiageli stated.
Recall that some religious fanatics stoned and burnt Deborah Samuel to death on Thursday after she was alleged to have made blasphemous statements against Mohammed (S.A.W).
