Newly Constructed Holden Bay Can Accommodate 150 Trucks-Lekki Port

The management of the Lekki Deep Seaport and it’s container terminal operator, Lekki Freeport Terminal on Thursday said it’s newly built Truck Holden Bay can accommodate 150 trucks.

Speaking when some maritime journalists undertook a tour of the deep seaport on Thursday,  the Chief Commercial Officer of Lekki Freeport Terminal, Mr. Kehinde Olubi-Neye explained that when full operations begins at the port, there won’t be need for trucks to park along the ports access road as the Truck Holden Bay just beside the deep seaport can accommodate 150 trucks.

“We have a Holden Bay already constructed for trucks. At the level that it is now, it can be used by trucks. The entry and exit gates are well constructed and the floors are well paved.
“The Holden Bay can accommodate 150 trucks at a go and with the Electronic Call-Up system that will manage truck movements in and out of the port, the Holden Bay is expected to manage the arrival and departure of trucks that have businesses to conduct at the ports,” Mr. Olubi-Neye explained.
