Man Arrested After Removing Four Metal Drain Ducts From Third Mainland Bridge

The Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday announced the arrest of a 21 years old young man, Ibrahim Ashafa for removing four Metal Drain Ducts from the Lagos Third Mainland Bridge.
In a statement on its social media handles, the Police said that Ibrahim Ashafa was arrested around 4:30am in the early hours of Monday.
According to the Police statement, “About 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Rapid Response Squad (RRS) operatives on patrol of Third Mainland Bridge caught Ibrahim Ashafa, 21, removing metal drain ducts from the Third Mainland Bridge.
“Recovered from him were four metal drain ducts, spanners, plier, rope, screw driver, and a wheel spanner.
“Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi while urging the operatives to intensify efforts in bringing to book vandals of the state’s infrastructure, directed that the suspect be charged to court.
