Lagos State Officials Dislodge, Arrest Street Traders In Agege, Ikeja

Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps aka Kick Against Indiscipline, dislodged and arrested street traders operating in different areas of the State on Wednesday.
The spokesperson for the State’s Ministry of Environment, Kunle Adeshina, disclosed this in photos shared on his X handle on Wednesday.
According to him, the operation was ordered by the State’s Commissioner, Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab.
Adeshina also stated that the arrested defaulters have been handed over to appropriate authorities for further action.
His caption read, “Operatives of LAGESC/KAI acting on the directives of HC MOE&WR on Wednesday, dislodged and arrested street traders operating at the Oshodi, Agege Motor road, Ikeja GRA, Old Secretariat, Suwebatu, Obanibasiri, Brown Street all under the Oshodi and Ikeja area commands.
“The arrested environmental defaulters were taken to the LAGESC headquarters and handed over to the appropriate section for further action.”
