Invest In Infrastructure Along Nigeria’s Seaboards, NIMASA DG Urges Littoral States

The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Bashir Jamoh has urged littoral States in Nigeria to consider investing in infrastructure along the nations Seaboards.
In a post on his verified Twitter handle on Friday, Dr. Jamoh stated that coastal tourism, which is currently estimated at £6bn is one of the fastest growing marine based economic activities globally.
According to the NIMASA DG, “Experts agree Coastal tourism alone is one of the fastest-growing marine-based economic activities worldwide, estimated at £6bn.
“Our littoral states must consider investing in infrastructure along our seaboards to drive organized waterside construction & real estate.”
