In a post on his social media handle, Ulrik explained that “Nothing beats the experience of seeing things with your own eyes.”
According to the APM Terminals-Maersk official, “A week in West Comes to an end, and what a week.
“Great days spent in San Pedro and Abidjan in Ivory Coast, as well as Lagos in Nigeria, with our teams in the countries handling our customers business.
“Despite having worked with West Africa for the past 16 years, this week’s learning curve has been steep. Nothing beats seeing things with your own eyes. Even if this means being stuck in Lagos traffic for 8 hours.
“Witnessing the potential and challenges for these people makes it clear that our company has and will continue to have a massive role to play in supporting this continent and it’s people.
“Africa is a true example of how integrating the world can improve life and possibilities.
Our presence here is big and will continue to be big.”
