Hyundai Heavy Industries To Inspect Nigeria’s Ship Building Yards

Hyundai Heavy Industries, a leading shipbuilding company is set to visit Nigeria to inspect some of her ship building yards.
Disclosing this over the weekend via his social media handles, the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Bashir Jamoh revealed that a technical team from Hyundai Heavy Industries is expected in Nigeria anytime soon to check for a possibility of reactivating her shipbuilding and Foundry industries.
According to Dr. Jamoh, who is still in South Korea with Mr. President, “At a meeting with Hyundai Shipbuilding officials, we deliberated on the possibility of reactivating shipbuilding and the Foundry industries in Nigeria while also targeting African markets.
“A technical team will be coming to Nigeria shortly to examine what we have on ground.
