GTBank Missing As Top 10 Banks With Highest Capital Inflow Trends

The list of top 10 commercial banks in Nigeria with the highest capital Inflow in the first half of 2022, which was released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has been trending on various social media platforms on Wednesday, with one of Nigeria’s biggest bank, GTCO conspicuously missing from the list.
Sitting atop the ten bank list is Citi Bank with $889.97million Dollar inflow. Second on the list is Standard Chartered Bank with a capital Inflow of $866.44million.
Third on the list is Stanbic IBTC with a capital Inflow of $415.44million. Fourth on the list is Zenith Bank with a capital Inflow of $221.26million.
“Rounding up the top five commercial banks with the highest capital Inflow in the first half of 2022 is Ecobank Nigeria with a capital Inflow of $152.75million.
“Sixth on the list is Access Bank with a capital Inflow of $101.14million. Seventh on the list is First Bank Nigeria Plc. with a capital Inflow of $90.48million. Eight on the list is Union Bank with a capital Inflow of $88.96million.
“Ninth on the list is First City Monument Bank (FCMB) with a capital Inflow of $72.22million. RAND Merchant Bank completes the top 10 list with a capital Inflow of $70.4million.
