Former NPA MD, Bala Usman To Speak On Governance, Accountability

A former Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Bala Usman is set to speak on Tuesday on governance and societal accounting at the Joinbodi Cohort Exhibition Fair 2024 holding at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.
Announcing this on Monday via its social media handles, BudgitNigeria, a civil society organization said the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Coordination will be speaking on the theme: “Reforming Governance to Enhance Social Accountability – Cultivating Peoples’ Power”.
“We’re thrilled to announce Hadiza Bala Usman @hadizabalausman, SA to @officialABAT on Policy Coordination, as the Keynote Speaker for the Joinbodi Exhibition Fair with the theme, “Reforming Governance to Enhance Social Accountability – Cultivating Peoples’ Power.”
“For five months, BudgIT and 24 Civil Society Organizations in the Joinbodi Cohort, with the support of the MacArthur Foundation, delved into research on civil society’s role in maintaining fiscal transparency, accountability, anti-corruption, and good governance, among other themes,” BudgitNigeria stated via its social media handles.
