Arigwe, a father of two girls, is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Igando General Hospital, Lagos. He is suffering from Biventricular Failure secondary to Dilated Cardiomyopathy and requires over N7 million for continued treatment to bring him out of the coma.

According to his wife, Esther Omolola Adigun, doctors informed the family that Arigwe needs N700,000 daily to remain in the ICU, an amount the family can no longer afford.
She explained that doctors at the Covenant University Medical Centre had earlier resuscitated him after he went into cardiac arrest while on admission at the Emergency Department.
Adigun added that upon examination, the doctor said his mental status was severely altered, with a GCS of 5/15. His post-resuscitation vital signs were: BP 129/85mmHg, Pulse 65bpm, SpO₂ 98–99% (on oxygen at 10L/min via non-rebreathable mask), and MAP 87mmHg.
She pleaded passionately for public assistance to keep her husband alive.
“I am pleading with Nigerians to help resuscitate my husband and father of two who had slipped into a coma. I am begging Nigerians for support to keep him in the ICU as we have exhausted all the money we have.”
She continued, “We have sold his car, phones and even electronics but they are not enough. We need help from Nigerians,” she pleaded.
