FAAN Shuts Down Lagos Airport Runway For Eight Weeks

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Monday announced that it has closed down Runway 18R/36L to enable maintenance effort.
In a post on social media, the Authority said that the closed down Runway will remain inactive for 8 weeks.
According to FAAN, “This is to notify the public that runway 18R/36L of the Murtala Muhammed Int’l Airport, Lagos has been closed for 8 weeks for Maintenance work to carried out.
“Taxi way B-18L will be used for all flight operations.”
