Customers Lament As FCMB Electronic Channels Shut Down

Many customers of the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) have continued to lament since on Tuesday over their inability to conduct banking transactions via the banks electronic channels.
In a post monitored on X (formerly Twitter), an X user by the name @JordanJR, while lamenting on the downtime been experienced in FCMB c-channels, stated that, “@FCMB, Omo its over an hour now . I can’t transfer.. what’s wrong na .. shey make we dey pack money go palmpay and opay.”
Another X user @IyaNu said, “@FCMB, Una dey craze. really, you want do maintenance, u no fit do ham for midnight?”
For @PabloKrypto, “It seems this time outage is intentional @MyFCMB , this is more than expected, what rubbish is this? What’s going on FCMB?”
Also, another X user @M@$€$ lamented that, “@FCMB, Can’t make a transaction since yesterday even early this morning I have rush to open the app but still same thing why ???.”
Recall that FCMB, in a post on its X handle on Tuesday had said that the downtime is due to an ongoing technical enhancement.
“Due to an ongoing technical enhancement, you may experience delays accessing our channels.
“We are working quickly to stabilize our services and will be back up in no time.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause,” FCMB stated on X.
