Arik Air Gave Us Bottle Water For Delaying Flight For Nine Hours-Passenger

A former Director with the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Mr. Olayemi Abass has lamented that stranded passengers who had their Abuja to Lagos Arik Air flights of Thursday 26th of October delayed from 2:20pm on Thursday till 11:10pm of same.day were only given bottle water as compensation.
Reacting to comments on flight delays and causes on social media, Mr. Olayemi Abass said that airlines are always deceifully merging flights because they don’t have enough passengers.
“Airlines deceitfully merge flights because they don’t have enough passengers.
“My flight on Arik Air from Abuja to Lagos yesterday, 26th of October 2023 was for 2.20pm and was shifted to 7 45pm and later 9.45pm and finally 10.45pm.
“We finally left at 11.10pm. We were given only one small miserable looking bottle of water. It was a very harrowing experience, sir,” Mr. Olayemi Abass lamented on social media
