2023 Elections: Kaduna State Governor, El-Rufai, Sowore In War Of Words
Fred Omotara, Lagos
The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai on Saturday engaged the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore in a war of words on Twitter over possible outcome of the 2023 Presidential elections.
The Publisher of Sahara Reporters and Convener of #TakeItBack Movement, Omoyele Sowore, apparently started the war of words when he stated that, “@elrufai: I watched a channels tv interview where you stated that I’ll only manage to win 30k votes!
“Let’s remind you that when you were in @OfficialPDPNig, you’d arrogantly mock your current masters in the @OfficialAPCNg. You’re about to be handed a historical disgrace in 2023.
“There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is…not being talked about”- Oscar Wilde!
“Glad you recognise that a tsunami is headed your way!”
The Kaduna State Executive Governor, in his response, stated that, “My dear friend @YeleSowore, Let us compare notes in 2023 if God spares our lives…….”
Sowore, in a quick response, replied that, “@Elrufai, You said this when you were power-drunk under Obj.
“@MBuhari is an expired & perpetually unelectable candidate. Today, you’re one of Buhari’s most virulent defenders. Sorry, won’t be comparing notes with you, your regime would soon be confined to the dustbin of history.”
