Sudan: Azman Air Joins Air Peace In Evacuation Of Stranded Nigerians

Azman Air, in a statement on Monday, said it has secured a Federal Government approval to evacuate Nigerians stranded at the Egyptian border amid the ongoing crisis in Sudan.
In a statement on it’s social media handles on Monday, Azman Air said evacuation is expected to commence on Tuesday, May 2nd 2023.
According to the airline, “Azman Air have received the approval of the Federal Government to Evacuate Nigerians stranded at Egyptian border amid the Sudan crisis with the 409-Seater Airbus A340-600
“Evacuation is expected to commence from Tue 2nd May as we await final clearance from Egypt to depart.”
Recall that Air Peace indicated interest to air lift stranded Nigerians from war-torn Sudan when the crisis spiralled out of control in early April.
