When kadecommunicationng passed through the bridge on Wednesday morning, many police officers were seen stationed at strategic places along the bridge to forestall any break down of law and order.
Recall that a “Plan Your Movement” message trended on social media on Tuesday evening warning of a potential shutdown of the 3rd Mainland Bridge and Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) by the protesting students.
The message which read: ‘The National Association of Nigerian Students ( NANS) will shut down the 3rd Mainland Bridge and Nigerian Port Authority Apapa tomorrow – 21/9/2022 in continued protest against the strike action of ASUU,’ came on the heels of the students shutdown of the Lagos Airport on Monday
