Papaya, a fruit for the heart

Papaya also known as Pawpaw is the fruit of the _carica papaya_ is a delicious fruit that can be eaten alone or combined with other foods.

Pawpaw contains high level of powerful antioxidant like lycopene which may reduce the risk of many disease especially ones that tend to come with age, such as heart disease and cancer. It also supply a healthy dose of fiber.

Papayas are a good source of vitamins A, C and E. it is also very high in carotenoid which may reduce inflammation, fight disease and help you keep an healthy skin.

The seeds of this fruit contains antioxidant that fight disease causing free radicals to prevent oxidative stress and ward off chronic disease.

Pawpaw -1 cup
Yogurt- 1/4 cup
Pawpaw seed -1 tbsp
Milk -1/2 cup(whole milk/coconut milk/almond milk)
Add all the ingredients into a smoothie maker and blend until smooth. Serve and enjoy.
